As this new cycle begins. . .on this day of the Autumn Equinox. . .I honour Athene.  She gives power, she gives strength, she gives protection, she gives wisdom, she gives justice, she gives healing. . . and she gives the gift of creativity.  May we take her gifts and blessings with us into this new cycle. . .to create a new life of wholeness. . . . .

Virgo Full Moon & Day of the Divine Feminine

The Day of the Goddess

That the Goddess Full Moon falls on the socially celebrated International Women's Day. . .in 2012. . .I believe is significant.

The 'world' is crying out for loving, caring, protecting and nurturing. . . .the qualities of the Divine Feminine.

2012 is quite a year, with alternate realities spinning in circles. . .the past, the present, the future, the imagined. . .overlapping each other, all in motion.  Grounding so important, when so much is happening.

Virgo is known as an Earth sign, but she differs from Taurus and Capricorn. . .she's a Goddess, so her familiarity lies with the divine. . .she tries to manifest this in the physical. . .her ideals are lofty, like her polarity friend Pisces. . .she 'sees' the divine in all. . .her natural tendency is purity. . .in thought and word and deed.  She continually strives to manifest this ideal, she's not always comfortable with the physical, in particular the grossest form of manifestation, so familiar in our current living.

She lives on a level somewhat elevated. . .this often makes her appear aloof. . but she has kindness in her heart and healing as her focus. . .she was sent here to improve.  She gets lonely at times, there aren't many like her, but she agreed on the terms of her visit. . she's not your 'normal' human, she's a Goddess. . .but you need to have eyes to see it.

So she often struggles here on Earth. . .it all seems so gross!  And she tries so hard to purify. . .she's often at a loss to understand the ways and means of others. You need to understand where she's come from, to understand her focus.

So it's the Full Moon of the Goddess. . .the Moon being the Mother. . .so lots of delicious Divine Feminine. . .and then add International Woman's Day. . . this is a special day, of 2012, to  celebrate and honour the Divine Feminine in all her glory.

It's her energy we're missing. . .in these gross worlds we've built. . .the balance is obvious to most these days. . .thing is, something needs to be done about it.  Yes Virgo is an Earth sign, she's not afraid of hard work. . .she also doesn't need applause, she just wants to get on with the job.  She knows what's she's doing. . .and she just want to get on with it.

So in this very unbalanced and unhealthy world. . .we as humans find ourselves in. . .the Goddess comes to remind us. . .there's work to be done. . . of a specific nature.  Purity needs to be pulled down from the heavens. . .healing needs to happen on Earth. . .discrimination is required on a moment to moment basis. . .our choices and decisions need to be constantly monitored.  

The Divine Mother's arms are long and wide. . .enough room for us all. . .she gently shows us the 'right' way of responding. . .she teaches us how to live our life. . .she nurtures, she loves, she cares, she feeds, she gives shelter and her love. . .she wipes the worries away, she is always there. . .she gave us birth, in the beginning.

So take a moment to reflect. . .on this quiet but powerful day. . .remember Virgo doesn't require fanfare . . . .she just quietly gets on with the job.  So don't wait to hear the drum roll or something to grab your attention. . .you need to stop, listen and feel. . .and you will see her as clearly as day.

There is so much more to life. . .than we could ever comprehend with our minds. . . a magick unsurpassed, a creation divine in it's making.

I am left with gratitude and thanks. . .for everything I am given.

Have a wonderful Full Moon in Virgo Goddess Day. . .celebrate the Divine Feminine. . .without her, we wouldn't have been given life. . .in the huge time of renewal we find ourselves in. . . stop, be still and listen. . . to what is really going on. . . take your focus away from the Maya, for a moment. . .and see the magick happening all around you.

Reviewing Our Values

Looking at the New Moon approaching. . .in a couple of days. . . .an Aquarius New Moon in early degrees. . . so fresh and ready for change! So look out for lots of new ways of doing things in the month ahead. . . .innovation is available.

One of the major players in planetary environment at present. . .is Mars, preparing for his retrograde journey.  He's been sitting in Virgo. . .since last November, close to the Full Moon on the 11/11/11. . . so his journey is significant. Mars in Virgo, taking care of the details. . .everyone needs to be 'right' before commencing the journey.  Mars may not be too comfortable here, it's not his speed, all these details drive him mad. . . .so he could be feeling a little frustrated. . . .take care on the roads.

But before any journey. . .especially one of significance. . . .everything needs to be double checked, cleaned and polished. . . to provide the optimum environment for success and abundance.

So details, looking over the fine print. . .getting all those tools in perfect order. . . cause there's a big journey ahead, for all of us.

You see it's all perfect, if we could only see, the rhythm of life. . .we just need to get in tune.

Only hours before the Aquarius New Moon, Mars goes stationary. . . increasing his 'brooding'. . .his energy is being stopped. . .he may not be very happy with this. . .you know how Mars is. . . .all the way 'GO'.  So again take care with all you do.

Then Mars goes retrograde (backward motion) just after the New Moon. . . .his influence over this next month's cycle will be very significant.
An opportunity for us all. . .to review our 'actions'. . .what motivates us 'to do' things. . . the health of our vital energy. . .what fuels our body. . . .so yes folks more learning. . . .

Pluto is making headway into Capricorn. . .January, being Capricorns month. . .transformational energy has permeated. . .how do we respond to transformation. . . head on. . .or escaping. . . .what are our habits. . .

So all this focus on the New Moon approaching. . .which by the way, affects us all individually. . . got me thinking about Dharma. . . our individual 'purpose'.
I guess with Mars/Action and Capricorn/Building. . . and just about to enter Aquarius. . . the Human Beings and our future. . . . .it was Dharma that presented itself to be looked at!

I wrote. . . .Dharma is a powerful force. . .everyone has a gift and their need is 'to get on with it'. 

Attempting to fight this Dharma. . .causes all sorts of problems. . . physically, mentally, emotionally and environmentally.

A powerful force. . .the finger of fate. . put together by the 'Creator'. . .you need to get out there and do it.  'Playing your part' is something that has been mentioned by a few lately.

We're like an orchestra. . .each with a Divine sound. . .each with our own rhythm. . .when we play our music. . . magick happens!
You see there is such a thing as 'magick', it's happening all the time - but to allow it to come forth. . .we need to be planted firmly within ourselves.

Yes, the doubts come. . .how could they not - societies conditioning ain't been crash hot!  Our senses have been confused, with illusion and lies. . without the Heart at the centre - all will is lost.

We were created in a specific way, with Heart at the centre. . without the right co-ordinates. . .the vehicle malfunctions.  A central system was created for the body, to control it's fine motor - a sophisticated system was created.

But you see, it all depends on where it's operated from, if it goes off course - malfunctioning occurs. . .and we received distorted messages.

Then the Divine vehicle becomes confused. . .and operates in an out-of-control manner.  The BIG danger here. . .that the person is unaware of this.

'He' thinks it's him 'in control' of his doing - but with a malfunctioning software. . .'he's' way of course, without even knowing.

So how do we get back on course. . .operate as intended. . .

Only centred in Heart energy - will real life manifest.

So much depends on this.  . . .

To add more blessings to this significant time. . . .a New Moon on the 25th, the day the Sun begins his new journey. . . .and Jupiter going direct the following day. . . .so stationary and powerful on the 25th.

These are blessing upon blessings. . . .a truly special beginning to a special year. . .absorb the many blessed rays of life and bounty. 

 Create your life with your focus, the seeds have been planted and the foundations created, this all happened during our current momentous year. . . .the flowering is now what we prepare to feast our eyes on.

The New Moon creating brand new growth, growth that will be visible, the radiant mountain of personal power glimmering in the rays of the Sun's new journey. A very special day. . .to be still and feel. . .your heart will swell with gratitude.. . . and with Jupiter's bountiful growth and blessings truly filling the molecules in the air. . . .your greatest self is being called to be conscious, at last. . . .this time will be remembered for generations upon generations. . . .and we are here to embrace it and contribute to it. . . .

2012 THE YEAR OF PERSONAL POWER

Well, we're on the countdown to. . . the very last days of 2011. . . .phew.w.w.w we made it!  That in itself could be the focus of this celebratory season.
Yes, it's been BIG. . . .but I guess it had to be. . had to prepare us for the year of 'Personal Power'.
The words 'came to me' while asking what kind of year 2012 will be; and it fit like a snug cap. . .the answer ringing true and accurate.

That we are still alive, breathing and doing is a miracle. . . .the miracle of all miracles. . .but especially after the many trials of 2011. . . .much gratitude can be expressed for bringing us this far on our journey.

It's been like an 'initiation' - into what. . . .well, that awaits us. . . but one thing I'm sure. . .and that is, that your own very special Personal Power will be fully formed and available to you.

It's always difficult to predict the future. . .as many moments are born till that time, every one a choice, every one destined, everyone full of Universal Life Force.  The sky above gives us some hints. . .the planets show us how they'll be operating. . .but it's only that inner voice in each and every one of us. . .that will give you a peak, lifting the curtain, ever so slightly, on your future.

Well some of us will celebrate Christmas and New Year, some of us will celebrate the Solstice. . .but intuitively we all know that a special time is occurring, a time worthy of celebration.  I like to celebrate the Solstice. . .the journey of our great Sun, he allows us life on Earth, his rays feed all life on this planet.

In the 'old' days people held in reverence, these planets that allowed us life. . . .modern times have different beliefs. . .we have choice in what we follow.
But it's obvious the role the Sun plays on this planet, our home, this Earth. . . .this glorious blue ball that dances round the Sun. . .chosen as a very special place to accommodate human beings. . . on their journey to Awakening.

Yes, we are incredible blessed to be living on this sacred planet. . .chosen by the 'Creator', nothing but the best for us Earthlings.  And we're blessed to live in the lands that we do, all so unique and special. . .all having a purpose in the grand plan, all having special gifts to share with the collective.
I live in Australia. . .a very Sacred Land, a deeply, deeply spiritual land. . . an Ancient Land. . . .with so many stories. The original caretakers, the oldest civilization on Earth.

So, the journey of the Sun is celebrated by the Solstices and Equinoxes. . .the Summer Solstice here in the south is on the 22nd December. . .for us here in the south it's the longest day of the year, a day when our exposure to the Sun is at its very maximum. . . .from this peak it begins it's change of direction, turning to face the south. . .and then by the 25th the birth of a new journey.

I love watching the Sun move across the sky, from our summer to our winter. . . every bit of garden gets a turn to be directly immersed in it's loving embrace. . . .powerful energy, Sun energy. . . it allows growth for all that's living.

For our brothers and sisters in the Northern Hemisphere. . .the 25th begins the Sun's journey to the north. . . but for each of us, it's a celebration, of the magnificent Sun's journey in our life. . . a time to stop and give thanks for his incredible contribution. . .we wouldn't be here without him.

We're having a small gathering here in the Border country of NSW. . .a place rich in Ancestral energy,. . . a time of focusing on Sun's energy. How could you celebrate this day. . . . amongst all the other festivities.

Life, as we know, is precious. . . .without, nothing would ever be possible. . . the Great Life Force keeps us here. . .but the Sun makes it physically possible.

Spend some time remembering your blessings.

And for this magnifico 2012 approaching - packed with oodles of glorious, REAL power. . .the power of love, the power of beauty, the power of clarity, the power of creativity, the power of wisdom. . . . .the power of life on this planet.

Organic Growth is occuring. . .

Life at Mahalia

What an amazing Eclipse. . . .an appropriate approach to the ending of 2011. . . 19 days to go until we prepare to welcome in 2012.

With Uranus. . .the harbinger of sudden change and revolution and Mercury still in retrograde. . (but starting to prepare for his forward movement). . . .the luminaries in the communication, learning and growth signs of Gemini & Sagittarius. . . .a Total Eclipse. . .a Grand Cross with Moon/Sth Node, Mars/Astraea, Nth Node/Sun and Ceres and a Yod with Moon pulling the energy of Juno and Venus .. .  . .yes all a bit Astro jargonish. . . . .TRANSFORMATION TIME IS UPON US. . .

2011 has been a doozy. . . .but a preparation time for the years that lay ahead. . .we'll need to be solid and grounded. . .with illuminated vision. . .to stand firm whilst the wild winds blow. . . .as life on Earth goes thru it's metamorphosis.

It's been a big year for many. . . so many things changing. . . on so many different levels.  But there's been a massive sense of releasing, while all that's been taking a free ride (and lunch) has been dropped off at the bus stop!  No more time for carrying unwanted baggage. . . .ah. . . .feels so much better to be lighter.

But this has had its affects. . . .body has been experiencing a number!  So many shifts in energy. . has required body to change also. . .this may have caused discomfort.

There's always one law with the body. . . you need to listen to it.

It's always communicating. . . .it doesn't have words so it communicates with sensations. . . .so.o.o.o.o important to take notice.

Was pondering my finished (for now) 'Healing' room. . . .haven't done much 'work' these last few years. . . this year body been unable to. . .body undergoing major happenings - so intense can be the transformative process.

But was visioning myself 'working' again. . . saying to person 'I cannot heal you, only you can heal yourself. . . but I can support you'

Reminded me of this reality. . .as often we seek out others to heal us.  Certainly they can assist us. . .with their skills and understanding. . .but very important that they are in harmony with our energy.

Support is crucial to a human being. . .in all areas of living.

But the healing is always a conscious allowing.

So we've all been thru big things in these last few years. . . .more is before us. . . I see 2012 as the 'Year of Personal Power'. . . .these last few years been a preparation.

So are you ready to open the door. . .with gratitude for all you've been given. . .to walk outside with head held high, a loved filled heart saturating your actions. . . .this is the time we've been waiting . . . .

But it does require the authentic you. . . the universal energies have done their bit. . .your life will always require you to steer it. . . but in the back seat all your wonderful guides and angels. . . .all your helpers.

So yes the Eclipse was a big one. . . .still downloading all that was given. . .open your eyes, your ears and your heart. . . new life is unfolding.

PLUTO has turned direct


After a number of days of standing still. . .after a 5 month journey of moving backwards, this morning in the pre-dawn (east coast Oz) stillness. . . Pluto moved forward. Relief? Well the journey's not over yet. . .


Pluto has taken us, willing or not, to the depths of the underworld. . .his job to show us what we try so hard to forget. . .what we allow to lie hidden in dark crevices of our psyche. Pluto's journey can be rugged, it's not a journey we would normally volunteer for. . .he's not the most popular guy on the block. . .but he's dedicated, truly dedicated to getting the job done.


When a planet is 'Retrograde' it's energy is turned inward. . . now Pluto's energy is naturally pretty inward. . .so a double wammy, you could say. He focuses in on the deepest, deepest, hidden specks of our psyche. . . .he misses nothing. His job is renewal, death and rebirth. . .he has no time for superficial niceness. . .he represents life in it's basic structure. . .there's no pretending here.


So the last 5 months have been an exploration, often painful, of all that's been hidden from the self. . . .He stood still for a few days. . . intensifying and illuminating even more the journey that's occured. . . now as of a few hours ago. . .he's moving forward again. .

Your body could still be in shock. . .it needs much rest and nurturance. . .it's been through a lot. The job is not over yet. . .the entire physiology needs to accomodate and assimilate all this restructuring. . . be kind to yourself, it's important now.


Seek out those who love and support you. . .this is an intense time of healing. . .love yourself as you would your own newly born baby. . .a new birth has definately occured. . .and a new life is unfolding.

Scorpio Full Moon - Wesak, celebrating Budha's Birthday

During this time of Wesak - the celebration of Budha's birthday held on the Scorpio Full Moon - my thoughts are drawn to 'values'.

Obviously first thoughts of Scorpio are intensity, transformation, desire and will.  Looking at the Full Moon chart for Australia, the following were my first impressions.

I've never before been so interested in the national manifestations of Astrological events (or for that  matter, politics) but during these extraordiary times of darkness, deceipt and pure insanity. . . . . . (yes, these are also times of great advances and major leaps forward and the awakening of the feminine) - I have to say I've lost all faith,interest and belief in our local politicians (the Greens being the only exception). I've never before seen what I'm now seeing - it is quite disturbing.

With a fresh approach (all this Uranian energy) I thought I'd write down my first impressions on the aspects of this Scorpio Full Moon chart for Australia (may God please help us. . . . .)

First impression Pluto sits in the 12th house - what I got was;
'Oz will not continue to get away with it's destructive habits and activities. . . . .retribution is coming'

The beautiful and inspiring jupiter, Mercury, Venus and Mars sitting together in the pre-dawn sky at present, in Aries, in the 4th house;
'bountiful and abundant energy is available for creating new (& sustainable) foundations'

Sun in Taurus in the 5th;
'abundant, earth based creative energy is available'

Saturn conjuct the Mid-heaven (in the 9th);
'responsibilites will be evident - there will be no shirking or hiding'

Juno in the 8th;
'time for sharing and combining our resources in true partnership'

Moon in the 11th;
'emotional and inner 'knowing' of the masses deepened and heightened, intensly strong emotional reactions manifest in groups of people'

The extreme challenging relationship between Pluto, Saturn and Uranus in the 12th, 9th/MC, 3rd respectively;
'the purging of the collective consciousness is happening and the results will be obvious (nothing will be hidden); local rebellions and uprisings - innovative communication needed for the good and the better'

Neptune conjuct Chiron in the 2nd;
'the wound to our values, deceipt and illumination in manifesting them - true healing is necessary and available if we can be humble '

Pluto in the 8th trines Jupiter, Mercury, Venus & Mars in the 4th;
'real and lasting transformation is available if we can accept the opportunities being presented to create new solid & innovative foundations'

Our systems and representatives of government seem to have lost their way with 'reality'.  The times have changed, we no longer live in the 'realities' of yesterday.  We are on a precipous of unimaginable disaster if common sense and real intelligence is not activated.

It is up to us, the people to awaken from our drug induced coma and truly see what is happening.

Be the change, live from your heart and use your God given intelligence.  Open your eyes and see for yourself, remove the wax and hear the cries - this will  not fix itself and if left, well I hate to think.  Stand up one and all and speak your truth.

Sacred Energy

Sacred energy permeates the ground here - powerful force needs to be understood clearly

I asked for 'permission' to set up camp - it was given, that's why i'm here

Don't see the full picture, why me that's been called - but it's roots are in ancient knowledge and 'being'

Energy is strong, need to transform my 'shape'
so currents of force can harmoniously blend

There's something big happening here
maybe why it's been difficult

But that which drew me here - had in mind a purpose. . . . honouring the forgotten.

Much is happening. . . .

- which is not surprising, is it!!

3 months have passed since I last posted - 90 degrees, a square - in the world of Astrology. 
Squares create tension - something has to give, lots of confronting what's not working.

As life has a flow, it's constantly moving - nothing remains the same, it only appears so.  So do you go with the 'flow' or try to resist it - resisting the tide is extremely exhausting.

I've been 'graced' with a 'system' with a high level of sensitivity - so nothing is escaped, if it's within my periphery.  All is one and one is all - everythings conncected and moving toward completion.

When 'things' need 'adjusting' - tweeked this way or that - to keep you on the path, it will automatically happen.  Life has been created with such magnificent genius, we get little glimpses - but much more is available to us.

We set our intentions - then rev our desire, actions follow - to manifest our vision.  We have a picture of what is needed to fulfil our purpose, so we set out after it. 

The combination of the non-physical and the manifest, collide in ways in which we're mostly unaware of - at least consciously.  We can think in lines, squares and substance but be unaware of the energy beneath it.

Energy is a powerful force, it creates life - poof, from 'nothing'!  Or so it seems.

So we make our plans, implement our actions - battle with our demons that try to distract us.  Life is love, light and abundance - but darkness also exists, when light is turned away from.

Complex beings we are  - shaped by many experiences, but with a 'core' of divinity, purpose and majesty.

So we live our life, dreaming and doing often unaware of what is really happening.

The matrix of energy, surrounding each 'being' moving in swirls - creating new realities. 

Each and every moment - 'new life' appears as we continue on our quest to create some meaning.

So no need to go into all the physical manifestations - enought to say that much has been happening, whilst attempting to manifest my vision of Mahalia.

2011- a brand new start

 

Moments of solar magick at Mahalia

It's been a while. . . . . a lot moving and transforming.  Since the last post I have moved and began the creation of 'Mahalia' - a 'sacred healing space' in the beautiful Border country of Northern Rivers.  

Working within this physical, material plane has its definite parameters - becoming familiar with dear Saturn certainly prepares us for this effort.

It begins with a vision - a fleeting thought, one of many - but it persists, till it becomes your companion.  So you start to write it down, collect pictures and draw it - it's becoming alive, moving more and more, into physical reality. 

Mahalia was a vision of mine, but then I hadn't named it - I saw it in my mind's eye for many years - until it was the right time for it to manifest.

So working with the material plane certainly has its laws, if something isn't ready to be - there's no need puffing and panting.

Saturn has a lot to teach us - solid reality is his realm - he teaches us application and discipline - and understanding of the movement of cycles. He shows us how to apply our energy, with focus and commitment, he won't give up till everything's 'right' - stability and longevity is his mantra.

Even blessed with lots of Earth at birth - I still can tend to grumble, "more hard work, I thought this would be easy" - "I thought you would have learnt by now, seems not" says authoritarian Saturn.

So we're 3 days past our new year New Moon Solar Eclipse, which had a hefty presence of Saturn and all those planets in Capricorn - it's certainly time to get on with the work!  Yes dreams and visions are really important, without them there'd be no matrix, from which the material can form, but there are definite times when heads, hands need to tend to the manifested reality. I believe now is one of them.

The first few days of any cycle give a sneak preview of what's likely to follow. Especially around the birth of a new year - it appears there's lots of work to get on with this 2011.  

We've all, most likely, been thinking and planning for some time now - well, now's the time to get on with it.  MANIFESTATION is awaiting!

There is definitely magick in life - that what we think, then becomes - how magick is that!  So what have you been thinking, what have you been creating in your thoughts - 'cause sure enough they'll begin appearing.

2010 was certainly a year to remember - some say that it was 2010 not 2012 that was the real turning point - I don't know, but Mother Gaia certainly made her presence felt in 2010 and continues to do so.  Here is this part of Oz and further north and west - water is overflowing - what is Gaia trying to tell us, do we have the ears to hear?

But as always we stand alone, our journey so very personal - yet at the same time by coming together, much can be realized.  But every step we take as ourself, every thought we think, every word that escapes our mouth, creates our world and our reality.

Saturn also represent maturity - and boy have we got that coming - if any remember your Saturn Returns - well as a human race I reckon we're going thru it. . . .What have 'I' done with my life up till now, what is really important?  What is the reason I've come to this Earth - what can I contribute with the time I have left?

Pluto's continuing his silent work - simply dismantling all that's decaying - a little scary, when you think just how much of it there is . . .  But there's simply no way of stopping him (not that we'd want to), a powerful force he carries with him - simply death and transformation.

There was a 'diamond' in the New Moon chart (a grand trine for those who know Astrology) - I see it as a special gift that's offered, but we need to be awake to take advantage.  This diamond encompasses the energy of Earth, with the fire of creativity and Pluto himself is central to this gathering, giving his power for manifestation.  Pallas Athene gives her significant wisdom, her skills in medicine, healing and creativity - and her skills as a warrior, a protectress of women and children. Our future destiny is being revealed here by the presence of the nodes and for those here in Oz (on the east coast) a Taurus Midheaven completes the triangle.  Comfort and ease, growth in the material, a creative hand at manifesting 'reality'.

Saturn challenges the Sun and Moon joining - to keep their focus during this cycle - to commit their energy to the greater good of learning, growth and new stable foundations.

A new year, new foundations that are real, solid and true - yes it takes work, this physical world does - but the rewards are simply outstanding.

So use this month of January to lay the pavers of your new creative pathway.
